Until this time in my life Julius Baker was one of the most admired names in the flute world.

He was the outstanding musical genius of all time, when you think of how much he wrote and how long he lived.

The year 1984 was one of the great years in my life being the year I married Jeanne.

Each time I come home form a tour I get several of my flutes out and play them.

I do not consider my self as having mastered the flute, but I get a real kick out of trying.
