We all get together to show we are the same. Maybe these kids don't have a mom and dad and feel different than other kids, but they're not.

The kids don't have many of these events. Often, these children are taken from their homes because they are abused and neglected. This (party) makes them feel wanted.

People have been so generous with their time and money. When you hear a foster program in Monmouth County, it's taking care of our own. I never have a problem getting donations and have never been told no.

The thing about community nursing is you pretty much become part of the (client's) family. There's a lot of satisfaction in helping clients move towards their own independence. I believe I've done my best here and have devoted most of my life to VON, and now it's time to relax and enjoy life.

If the girls play well it should give them a feeling of confidence. This will be an important weekend, but anything can happen.

The teams we play this weekend will be stronger. Hopefully with all this behind us we are going to play some good golf.
