We all want to be better. We feed off each other.

I think all the sports are everyone's favorites. Even sports like curling, where you need a certain skill but it's not physically demanding, people are really getting into it. The (U.S.) men got into the medals round and everyone was really excited and super supportive.

The starter is really hurting people. You're supposed to be down for 1 1/2, 2 seconds at the most. When you're down for 2 1/2, 3 seconds, it's a tough position. I tripped up and it just got my timing off.

He's incredible. He is by far the best skater out there today. In my opinion, he's the only guy who brought his 'A' game to this competition. It's great for our sport, it's great for speed skating in the U.S.
