Microsoft has complied with our request, as has Yahoo and AOL. We have not analyzed the data yet.

We've had this request from Senator Leahy, and we're going to review it as we do all requests from the Hill. We're at the very beginning of our review to see if there's any action the Department should take.

Yahoo had far less to gain from a relationship with AOL than did the other companies.

It won't reduce spam directly. AOL is already good at managing spam issues, and Yahoo is getting better. It may make it easier to filter mail, and may provide more resources for spam prevention, but it could also mean that people lose emails, and so change provider.

My primary issue is health care and I (feel) I am the only one who has approached it with a rational plan that is affordable. What I don't want is the Canadian plan where a person goes to the doctor 200 times a year because they are lonely.
