We always go out to win, every time. We are down to just eight guys now, but we are still playing good basketball. We know any win now is a huge win and any win on the road is huge. Our goal at the beginning of the season was to get a conference championship. That's still our goal.

It's even more important now, because it's our last go-round. You always want to play and you always want to do your best. We're all excited for the opportunity. The NIT is a good tournament, and we just want to go out and enjoy ourselves.

With every minute, I was buying time for the runners.

When was the last time you saw a story being driven forward by dances and songs?

The reason was that there simply weren't enough Hispanic - forget Puerto Rican - Hispanic male and female dancers at the time who could do the kind of professional job that was needed for Jerome Robbins' choreography, which is, you might have noticed, extremely complex and very difficult.

I don't watch TV. In my spare time, if I have any, I want to make music.
