We always thought we had a chance. We've done it before and it was never in our minds that we couldn't win.

When my coach told me I was drafted I was really excited. It's a chance for me to keep doing what I love best. Losing out on the Olympics was sad, not just for me, but for a lot of little girls out there playing softball. That was always a goal of mine. That's life, I have to move on with this chance.

We think we have a chance. It's been a definite step up in competition. There are so many good teams out there at this level. I am going to try and have the best year I can and then move to Texas. From there we will just have to see how it goes.

I knew I had to help my team in any way possible. They just wanted me to be energetic, and that's what I tried to do.

Today was a big stepping stone for the program. ' just wish we could have played a little better for our fans.

If we've got 10 guys playing like that, we've got a chance to go through January, deep into February with a lot of fresh legs and a lot of fresh bodies.
