We are a church that is deadly serious about serving Christ and living out the Scriptures, and we invite people who want to live their faith in a thoughtful and non-legalistic manner to join us.

The church has 35 different ministry teams,

[After the 9/11 attacks, attendance at Living Word Church swelled for several Sundays and a few people found salvation in Christ.] It only lasted about a month, but now our whole church is turned upside down and people are afraid about the future, ... We're working around the clock, and we know things won't be the same for a good while.

If the Church is right, then people have some serious questions to answer,

It really speaks to the bounty that's available in the outback that most people overlook. Living in the outback, the Aborigines have thousands of years of expertise in what's available, what's edible, what's not edible.

There has been a baby boom in the congregation, ... but a lot of our members have lots of pets. We have a compassion for unwanted animals. And we're emphatic about making a difference.
