We are happy that Gerald will continue his career and development with the Charlotte Bobcats. He is a quality young man and has considerable upside.

Peoria, Connecticut, Atlanta, ... I've got the Big East tournament on Thursday, the ACC on Friday, the SEC on Saturday. Then we've got the NCAA tournament. We've had guys out for the past six months. We've seen all the consensus top high school guys. We've been to Europe. We've ranked all the NBA players from all 29 teams. We've got guys everywhere.

You've seen guys when it gets to this point of the season, the wagon has already been backed up to the door. We're going to close it out like professionals.

We are excited that Matt chose to return to Charlotte and continue to build upon last year's start. Matt added several dimensions to our team with his long-range shooting, toughness, strong work ethic, rebounding and ability to get to the free-throw line.
