We are here simply to decide whether Congress should take the taxpayer dollars of millions of pro-life Americans and use them to fund the destruction of human embryos for research.

It's all about the fungibility and money. If Planned Parenthood accesses hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money and they use that for other purposes, then they can use other dollars to fund abortion.

On any given day, the government is spending millions of taxpayer dollars, but we simply have no visibility on these purchases. They just buy from the same person year after year.

Budgets are moral documents. Federal funding should reflect the priorities and the values of the majority of the American people.

I'm grateful to Donald Trump's pro-life views, and I'm grateful that he's expressed those views so publicly and openly.

It's time to stop the raid on the Social Security trust fund and start allowing Americans to invest their Social Security taxes in personal savings accounts.
