We are looking better than I thought we would be at this stage. Lydia made a sensational comeback. It was out of this world. She got to 98 per cent of her best in her first event and she made the rest of the field look ordinary. She was a class above everyone else.

Dale was very impressive - he's close to the best skier out there on his turns and speed.

Dale was already in the mix and Michael Robertson was coming through. At the 2003 world championships we had three people in the top 12 so we were already on the rise. We believed it could be a high performance program at the Olympics.

It was the best full-full she has ever done. For a person whose been back jumping on snow for less than a week it was extraordinary.

We know they're considered to be basically the best D-III team in the section even thought they're not the No. 1 seed. It's an opportunity for our kids to go out and prove that they can play with anybody. We feel like when we bring our A-game, that we can step on the court and we can be competitive with anybody we play against.
