For the plaintiffs it comes down to a question of candor and does the jury think the defendant was being honest and putting all its cards on the table. If they think they're trying to hide something, that's when the defendant gets slammed.

I believe that the jury in this case did the right thing, and we are obviously very happy with the results. They seemed to have little difficulty coming to the decision they did, seeing it only took them about an hour to come up with a decision.
