We are taking action to ameliorate the effects of this more challenging trading climate by continuing to bear down on costs across the group as well as finding more cost effective ways of increasing sales.

This dovetails nicely because the goals put forward by the California Climate Action Team are consistent with the goals of the California Clean Energy Initiative. Our measure provides the state a funding mechanism to make those goals a reality.

The dialogue is now shifting gears from climate science to climate action. There's still a lot we need to learn about the science, but the events of the past year have ended much of the lingering debate and controversy. The most important question now is what can individuals, communities, states and nations do to reduce and prepare for climate change.

We look forward to a more open and accommodating political climate that will allow Canadians of faith to have a legitimate voice in the public square.

The president wants responsible action on global climate change, and he is ready to take responsible action.

Nuclear power cannot save the world from climate change. Returning to nuclear will simply hamper real action to reduce energy demand, develop better alternatives and tackle climate chaos.
