We are thrilled that Mr. Hickman agreed to the roast to benefit the Red Cross. This is a unique way to honor Mr. Hickman — and long overdue. At the same time it is a wonderful opportunity to support the Red Cross which has been serving and supporting Maury County citizens since 1917.

It's not good. From a common sense point of view, of course it's going to be a problem. It's going to be a mess.

It is time for the Red Cross to have a more suitable location.

We can't handle an emergency if we don't have the equipment.

We've been told when we leave the building, the county is just going to knock it down.
