We are trying to raise awareness. We have been networking with grass-roots organizations across the state. This is one part of a huge problem facing the state of Maine.

We really wanted to come together and get all the folks from these communities talking to each other.

We have tried every other path and decided something more dramatic and vocal and visible was needed to raise public awareness of what the bill is really about.

Today we're here to announce an unprecedented commitment from media to business, to health care industry, to grass roots organizations, all over our nation, to inform families of these new health insurance options,

The mission is to really raise awareness so that we can get involved in trying to prevent it from happening.

We're now trying to get these fraternal organizations working together on major projects to benefit people.
