We are trying to show our support for child soldiers in Uganda. Every night, they have to leave their homes to go to urban areas.

This was an emotional night all the way through. I think to see the support of the parents, cheerleaders and students, even after the type of season we've had really made this a great atmosphere and experience for our seniors.

It's wonderful [the affirmation]. We want to support the Soldiers any way we can.

But that weekend a Black Eyed Peas concert and sporting events are still being held.

In Uganda, there has been a series of political unrest after political unrest.

So for, you know, for a good 20 years now I've been involved with veterans and soldiers and in support of them no matter what they're doing.
