We are very, very fortunate to have someone like Dale step into her shoes. We think that Dale is going to do an excellent job for us.

We know what we have in Dale. He's a guy that could step in and be a starter and you would feel good about it … I have a lot of confidence in him, and the players have a lot of confidence in him. He'll step in, and we'll keep rolling.

We've been planning on a new building. Our middle school is close to 100 years old now.

We're extremely pleased that he accepted this opportunity. We're excited about his background and what he might be able to do for the district.

The problem is that there is nobody in any party who has the stature to step into his shoes.

I think Dale would at least be pleased from that to know that we moved forward in that. He and I had a discussion the week of the Daytona 500 about the HANS because he was questioning me why I was wearing it. But certainly, there were a lot more put into use the weeks following that Daytona 500.
