We became Lake Martin. Every year, the storm drains go the other way.

We need a little payback for Storm Lake last year. They kind of ruined our season and we haven't forgotten that. We want to show people we can play well against them. They're a very good team, a very physical team. They like to throw a lot, so it's going to give us a different set of problems. We want to rise to the occasion and come back with a victory in week two (of district play).

Now we just have to get lucky for a year or two.

We've cleaned a lot of the storm drains so we're in decent shape there. Given the hillsides already have been inundated, the whole idea is to be aware and to watch.

There's nothing more important than fixing our storm drains. That is not the issue -- and, in fact, saving me $100 a year is not the issue. The issue philosophically is that there's a better way of doing this and we feel the entire voting population should have a chance to look at this.
