We believe that some people should get their drugs for free, and a small class of people should even be paid to take them.

What remains to be seen is whether the information entered into these registries actually become useful down to the level of the individual. Hopefully, the infrastructure is behind this to make it user-friendly.

We've all heard the stories about people cutting their pills in half, choosing between paying for drugs and paying for food, or forgoing the medications altogether. These folks shouldn't be faced with these choices at all. It's time that Congress help high-risk pools, consumers, employers and state legislatures control the rising cost of healthcare.

Usually the critics are people whose pocketbooks are impacted because we go in and get drugs cheaper for consumers.

People often underestimate how difficult it is to get medicines in other countries. You can buy over-the-counter drugs but you can't be 100 percent sure you have the right thing. They could be the wrong medication or the dosage may not be the same.
