We can only be better. We look forward to the future.

We won today because everyone took their job seriously. We've been finishing second for the past five years. To get over the hump means a lot.

This was special because it was such a team effort. When you have eight, nine or 10 kids taking part, that makes the celebration more festive. These kids had the opportunity to have a great season and they took advantage by maturing as the season went on and staying focused.

His ankle is really sore. Playing on that surface probably made it more significant.

Our defense was on the field too long. We played catch up with our offense and that was a difficult task.

Given our lack of success we've had against Washington State ... there's a lot of focus and motivation to continue the things that we are doing. This is a big road test, our first road test of the season.
