We cannot physically be there to help our fellow nurses so we offer this Labor Day 'Labor of Love' challenge in an effort to do what we can to help.

The Red Cross officials were telling people not to just show up there to help-probably because they were trying to evacuate people and didn't want others coming in,

They do something one day each week that can help them get a summer job later on. (Teen Challenge) is something that will give them valuable resources. No only do they have fun but they gain experience through the program as well.

Avoid idleness, and fill up all the spaces of thy time with severe and useful employment: for lust easily creeps in at those emptinesses where the soul is unemployed and the body is at ease; no easy, healthful, idle person was ever chaste if he could

The big challenge is prices to make the bags affordable. What makes it the most challenging is that labor is really expensive.

We are very concerned about these shortages and are seeking input from today's nurses to help us more effectively train and attract new workers to the health care field.
