We can't say anything about the negotiations until the freeholders formally vote on it, ... Hopefully they will do it at their next regular meeting.

It is now formally in the project.

This is a vote to start negotiations. This is not a vote to withdraw. It merely starts the process. Where it ends, we don't know.

Hopefully it's not too bad.

[But Bustamante -- whose announced campaign strategy is to urge Californians to vote] No on Recall, Yes on Bustamante ... that there's some good that could come from this as a result.
