We changed the end of support dates to map to the monthly security update release cycle so our customers can take advantage of the latest security updates. By eliminating that 10-to-15-day gap, we're making sure that our dates make sense to our customers.

We can see how it could me misinterpreted. The policy applies to all products. We're applying it across the board.

This is a very good thing for our customers in terms of our Trustworthy Computing initiative.

We'll support Beta 2 with security updates, either as a patch [via Windows Update] or as a new release.

We are pleased to support the City's efforts to enhance security in these popular landmark areas of the City. In designing the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade project, Federal Network Services offers the same level of experience in linking networks and providing for the secure transmission and storage of data as it does for its many U.S. Government and state information technology projects.

I would support the full investigation of this matter and all of the national security issues at a minimum, but I would oppose turning over control of such important assets ... to a company owned by a foreign government.
