We couldn't get much going offensively, but we had one good inning where we ran the bases really well. Douglas played well enough to win, but they just couldn't get the big hit.

They ran themselves out of the seventh inning.

We played a good game. We pitched well, we caught the ball, we ran the bases ... we just didn't hit. Four hits against a fifth starter is not going to get it done.

I am happy, but I'm getting afraid that the girls are starting to get a little overconfident. But as far as development and hitting the ball, we're right on schedule.

We expected to score a lot of runs today, but I was even surprised by how well we hit the ball today. Our league is really young this year, and we've got a lineup full of experienced hitters.

Overall we played really well. A team usually doesn't hit three home runs in a season, let alone three in one day.
