We deceive ourselves if we believe we can hold on to old models as ideologies whimper off to a shallow grave in prolonged agony of people, institutions and cultures.

Leaders in business and government, who fail to see the holistic interdependence of our planet, are destined to cause its demise.

It is always easier to destroy a complex system than to selectively alter it.

To think, if one was to give a report on the state of humanity, yes, in our evolutionary process, yes, we have also managed to instill complex value systems of divisiveness......What should we be judged on......What should we as a species be defined by...... The hummingbird still feeds on the leftover flowers in our garden, the rabbits darted away and the neighbor's cat gave me the eye, when I went outside this morning...

I began to understand that ideologies necessarily push, pull, and tug at reality to make it fit the system. Even when they are committed in the service of a noble cause, lies inevitably make me recoil.

Ideas are not dangerous unless they find seeding place in some earth more profound than the mind.
