We deplore the fact that Leaser Lake is now a mud puddle.

It was a lake, ... Instead of quicksand, it was quick mud. But the conditions were the same for both teams. I figure football is played in all kinds of weather. The first time I've ever heard of any cancellation of football games was in recent years.

I am sure they all want to preserve the lake for future generations. I am going to make a personal donation myself.

Right now, everybody is sort of sitting on their hands doing nothing. But if we show some local initiative, it's going to make it easier to apply for more money from the state and maybe from the federal government.
