We didn't do a good job of guarding their inside players. They're not the tallest girls, but they're strong and they finish aggressively.

The main thing I'll remember from this game is how hard the girls competed against a very good team. We're getting better every game.

We beat the No. 4, No. 1 and then the No. 2 seed to win the state title. The girls played amazing basketball all week.

Coming off the preseason we had some injuries so we just chose to put our girls in JV because it's early in the season. We had three of our top seven runners out and a few still recovering.

It looks nice so far. I think we're going to have about 10 to 12 girls teams here and that's bigger than it's been in the past. Plus we've got some big names coming like Male, Oldham County, Butler, Mercy and Ballard. It should be a nice, competitive field.

Our customers — 18-year-old Japanese girls to 65-year-old ladies — like the idea of covering their arms.
