We didn't know what the gap was until we reached the hut. We were about six minutes ahead. I was wasted at that point, but Brian pulled me through. I didn't have anything left. If it weren't for him, we probably would still be out there.

It's just better to just go ahead and not even be tempted to give them those minutes.

If we can come out in the first four minutes and be close, even or ahead we will be in it. If we get overwhelmed, make mistakes and are not ready for that intensity or action it is going to be a long night. We have the talent, but we just don't have the experience. Hopefully we can gain it in a quarter or less.

That's a superior team. We played as hard as we could for 32 minutes, and we just got a little tired at the end. Our intensity and mental toughness was where I'd like it to be.

She put others ahead of herself and that's what we're going to do. We want her legacy to continue.

I go down to my little hut, where it's tight and dark and warm, and within minutes I can go back to being six or seven or eight again.
