We didn't play well to start the game for whatever reason. We dug a hole against a great team and then struggled to keep from getting embarrassed.

With this schedule, any time you don't play well, you lose.

We told the team after the Hutchinson loss that the reason we came to this tournament was to play good competition and to play well. Minus the Jefferson loss, we think we did. To be at the same gym the national tournament is at and get those first-day jitters out of the way, hopefully next time we'll be more prepared for this facility.

The cornerback made a great play on the ball. Sometimes, you're going to have those type plays. I want to make sure I don't have any interceptions because of misreads or trying to force the ball in there. I think that's a big key why we're moving the ball and scoring more points than we have in the past.

There's no reason to think he's not going to play this week.

If I continue to play like this, there is no reason why I cannot win this tournament. I have a great opportunity and I know what I have got to do to win.
