We don't have a record of him taking a hunting safety class in Wyoming, but he would not necessarily have had to.

This varies from state to state. In Colorado, for instance, everyone has to take the class regardless of their age. But many states have grandfather clauses similar to ours.

It hasn't been worked out. Obviously, it's going to be an expensive thing to do. I don't know where the money is going to come from.

Dove hunters do not appear numerous in this area. Last year, I saw one party hunting doves. They were from Milwaukee and were setting up on a DNR property. It was a wetland restoration project with lots of exposed mud at the water's edge and dead trees nearby for doves to roost in. They set up near the water's edge waiting for doves to come drink ... and they were successful.
