We don't mind at all. We all look forward to playing.

My whole life, I was the underdog. I've got God at the head of my life, so I wasn't worried about being the smallest. I just try to play smarter than everybody else, and work hard.

This happened to be my first visit, and I fell in love. Coach 'Bo' [ex-wide receivers coach Bryan Bossard, now at Maryland] referred to it as being in a relationship. If you're committed to one girl, why would you want to go talk to other girls? So, I canceled my other visits, to Central Michigan, Bowling Green and Hawaii.

If I can slow it down in my mind, ... Things will be fine.

I don't mind (struggling at the plate now) because that is when you learn. You don't learn anything when you're hitting hot. Then it's just happening. It's when they make adjustments to you, that's when you have to make adjustments to them. Obviously it's not fun but I've learned more since I started to struggle.

My mind is my therapist; my conscience is my lawyer; my body is my personal trainer; my soul is my counselor.
