We dropped some games earlier in the season where if our defense had been better, we would have had a better chance.

We've had a couple of wild games and it's great to be on this end of them.

She's (Strickland) come on so well defensively the last few games. She plays super defense, did a good job on the (Erica) Rivera (at Pasquotank County) girl and a good job up in Hickory, and she moves her feet well, and she hit some big shots.

We need to rely on our defense. We've won games that way and will continue. I hope they will respond next week.
