We encourage these kinds of initiatives. We think they're necessary to protect the sanctity of marriage.

If they wanted to alienate conservative Christians, they're making every effort to do so.

It seems they made every decision they could to alienate us.

We certainly understand that Christians have difficulties in life, even ministers. But this was not a realistic portrayal of a minister's life. This was so far beyond the pale, it was almost a comic-strip version.

The deeper message is how marriage and love can transform a person and overcome anything. So it couldn't be more perfect for Valentine's Day.

My own personal, moral, spiritual, religious, etc. beliefs don't oppose same-gender marriage.
