We expected them to play us tough. Poor Bryce came up to me and was concerned about what people were saying about our pitching, and she just went out there and showed them.

We started off playing a little timid. We were hitting the ball in the air and not making plays. Then we settled down, got some hits and were fortunate to come out of (the fourth inning) with the lead.

I actually think there is as much depth in pitching as we've ever had in the county.

When we win, we coach. When we lose, we soothe. It's an opportunity to get them to see things on the field. If they see it, they can apply it. It's time to get focused.

We're going to have a tough road. If we get Knoxville, we have to play a team we have beaten twice this season. It is never easy to beat a team three times, especially a team as physical as Knoxville. And if we play them, it will be on their own floor.

We didn't get into it, other than she was concerned about Rick and she felt that it was a tough situation for him and that she would sit down at some point and answer questions that everybody has for her and be her own person.
