We feel if we have 10 turnovers or less, we'll have a chance to win the game. We had a pretty good first half but were sluggish in the second, and that's to be expected with such a big lead.

Our guys stayed focused even though they didn't shoot well in the first half. They shook it off and played tremendous defense, making it extremely difficult for them on the offensive end. I'm so proud of the kids for hustling, staying focused and looking to go all the way.

I couldn't be anymore happier. This counts as a thousand wins.

We won with hustle, defense and determination. Burkeville is quick and made us look bad at times. We're thrilled to be where we are at this point after beating such an athletic team.

We can't afford to get rattled and let their quickness affect us. They like to slap at the ball and use their hands a lot on defense, so we've got to take care of and put an emphasis on having ownership of the basketball.

We are happy with that. We want to be undefeated in district and the state playoffs. That's what we truly want.
