We feel very fortunate and are very happy to be 1-0. I don't think many people gave us a chance to be 1-0. But you lose everything you gained winning against an Oklahoma if you go and get beat by SMU.

It poses a dilemma for us because more and more property crimes are occurring. We are making arrests, but people going to the Department of Corrections are not staying very long. Those people are coming back into the community quicker.

and we frankly think that's what the American people want us to do.

Some people go to church. We shoot. It's the same type of get-together. To us, this is our sport. This is what we like to do.

We know over the next few days people will criticize us and rightly so because our performances haven't been up to our standards. There will be a lot of disappointment for the next few days but we are training on Friday and Saturday mornings and Sunday's game is a great chance to put it right because the fans will want us to put a show on for them.

It shook a lot of us up. There's a lot of good people down here who want to see change.
