We focus on things citizens can do to work with police rather than relying exclusively on police.

Usually, community interaction with police is during arrests, and this is an opportunity for them to be a team and be peers. Communities are better able to understand police and their job.

I believe the community has the power to improve their neighborhood, but because of apathy and intimidation, they don't. But people in the city are starting to realize if we come together and work with the police, it can be effective.

The people I work with are nice people, and they seem to appreciate what I am doing.

Police labs are only set up to do human work, and they were overwhelmed with that. If they had animal evidence, they would just set it aside.

It was good police work.
