We fought hard all game. Our kids didn't give up. Poughkeepsie is a great team. I'm just glad our kids were able to hang in there for the win.

Those young kids have some experience and they're playing better than they did last year. I think this is a team that can grow by getting better from week to week. Hopefully we will.

I remember being down on one knee, falling to the ground with kids on top of me.

As soon as Devon gave the ball up, they'd scramble off and pick the other kids up a lot quicker than teams we've played in the past. Some of our players were looking for wide-open shots and they'd hesitate. Once we did that, they were on us. ... We just weren't ready to shoot the ball quick enough.

This group of kids is really working hard. I would say this is the best we may have practiced since the first couple years of the high school.
