We got a lot of rain from the hurricane and started the season off real good, then it moderated and we didn't do as well. But you have to remember that by the time the birds get this far south they have a Ph.D. in survival.

Hurricane Hugo, that wasn't even a good shower of rain. It's nothing compared to this.

Hopefully, we can get a good grasp on this before the actual hurricane season starts.

The last month of the season I think there were a lot of similarities that started to manifest in our club that did in 2002. I think our situational hitting all of a sudden got back to where it needed to be, we're running bases well. We're going to get a chance to get into our game hopefully, and if it can emerge like it did in 2002, we have a chance to get on that roll.

I'd say the game went like the season. We started off bad and then we had a good little stretch. We just fell short.

In summer winter rain or sun, it's good to be on horseback.
