We got strong play from a few individuals, but we didn't get a collective effort from the whole team. We're not going to win with individual effort. We're going to win when we play together as a team the way we're capable of playing.

Our team chemistry from day one has been great. Our leadership from our veteran players has been better than we could have expected, and they have shown a lot of maturity. Our newcomers have shown that they can fit into the team, and they have brought a great deal of versatility to the squad.

Nick hasn't really pitched a lot, so it was great to get the effort we did from him. We have a very young team with some kids who have never even played the game before so, it's going to take some time.

That was the play of the game. He runs down on that and just makes an unbelievable effort. There were just a lot of things like that for us today.

It doesn't matter who we play. We believe we can win. We're coming there to give our best effort and trying to come away with a win. That they are Division I and we're Division I-AA doesn't matter to us.

I'm not disappointed in our effort. Everyone came ready to play, and everyone gave their best effort. It's frustrating, but I'm not disappointed.
