We had a bunch of young, inexperienced runners that really embraced the tradition of excellence in Fremont High cross country. With the first meet behind us, we have a clearer sense of what we need to do to reach our team goals for the season.

Meghan needs to build on this. This is something she needs to take some pride in and remember.

We improved significantly as a team today. Although the times reflect the warm windy conditions, it was our best overall performance of the season.

The gap is starting to close a little bit with these younger kids. Obviously some of these younger kids are starting to accept the challenge of moving up.

Every meet they get out there they are just getting more experienced.
