We had a pretty good day. Our saying on defense is hunt as pack. If one guy gets beat, we have ten other guys backing him up. I think we did a good job today.

The defense likes to get athletes out there and I like to think I'm one. I wanted to try defensive end. We're kind of short there. We're seeing how it goes.

The offense did just enough and the defense pretty much went into the game saying if [the Cowboys] don't score, they can't win. They can't beat us. It comes down to making plays, and guys winning one-on-one battles. Ultimately, that's what our guys are doing right now.

It's my first spring as a defensive end. I'm just trying to get after it. We have some good coaches here and I'm still learning. I still have a long way to go before I get there but hopefully it will work out.

Our punt team looked pretty good this weekend. Also, our defense was able to stop Army occasionally, which was a positive.

We've been saying all week they've got a great defense. If we're going to face a tougher one, we might not want to face them. Their front four was awesome. It's the best front I've played against in college.
