I don't want to necessarily use the word epidemic, but the number of kids with autism is increasing astronomically. We know part of it is better diagnosis and the fact that diagnosis categories have broadened, but even those issues don't explain the increase in numbers.

We just need more kids to come out. For football, kids started coming out more and more when we started winning games. Since basketball hasn't won a lot of games, no one decided to come out. Maybe more people would come out [if we won].
