We had to replace four coaches from last year's staff and I'm very pleased with the personnel we were able to bring in. Jeff is obviously a talented, young coach who will play a key role on our staff.

Talk to me after the first game. We're a new coaching staff still getting to know our players. We haven't had the band out there or the cheerleaders out there yet. Who knows what our guys will do when that happens.

We won't be able to replace Katie with just one athlete when she leaves. We'll need two, three or four people. Plus, she is very competitive. She understands her events and knows how to go about doing them in the right way.

As difficult as it is to find good coaches, we had Dave in the building. We had the personnel we wanted right here.

There hasn't been that much said about it because Tony, the coaches and the players have made it look so easy.

It's very worthy of the accomplishments of Mark and his staff. We're very pleased with it. I think that it (the extension) indicates our willingness to make a long-term commitment.
