We had Wake Forest down 17 points in the second half and lost. I still remember (Wake coach) Bones (McKinney) and his red socks. We should have won that game. We had four 80 percent foul shooters, but we didn't have a slow-down game.

I was 6-3 and weighed 160 pounds, and I got to guard (Wake Forest's 6-8, 240-pound Len) Chappell.

We just gave up too many points in the first half. The second half we just wanted to come out and pressure them.

We ended up with nine turnovers in the second half and they scored 14 points off our nine turnovers, which is something we can't do if we want to win on the road.
