We have a confident feeling for what Razor [Ramirez] can bring. We have some tough calls to make.

It's been a long trip, it obviously hasn't been fruitful. Everyone goes through periods, this is a tough period for us. Everyone knows what success is and we're not having it right now.

[Rookie pitcher Chris Young is on track to rejoin the rotation next week. Young has been resting a tired arm, but he's anxious to get back on the mound, where he is 11-7 with a 4.19 ERA in 29 starts.] He's ready to go, ... He thinks we're being too cautious.

That put a damper on the day, Mike and Tex shaking hands and saying goodbye.

He'll get to full throttle. He's close, it's just the everyday pounding. As long as he's not experiencing any discomfort or setbacks, we'll take it day-by-day.

It is something that we've dealt with and I think he's dealt with it real well, all things considered, and it's time to move on and get the focus back on getting people out.
