We have a lot of good candidates out there and when it comes to running for office, it's a very personal decision,

They're running someone who is not a New Yorker. Someone who has not paid taxes in New York, someone who has not gone to school in New York.

When I left, there were over 1 million fewer people on welfare in New York state than when I took office, replacing dependency with opportunity.

I feel I'm as qualified for office as any of the other comedians who are running.

I am running for this position because it is an important one. This is an office with a multi-million dollar budget and serves the public.

I think we're getting closer. I think it's my generation that you'll see doing it (running for office). It's just a question of time. We're just not of age yet.
