We have a lot of kids in our community and we have five children of our own, and we want the kids to have a safe place to play.

Our community must protect basic education for its children. Today, our schools can still deliver a quality product. But with more than $15-million in tough cuts already made and more coming, that quality is at risk. To protect education, and the investment we have made in our homes and in our community, we need to pass our issue in May.

Children make you a better everything. Daughters open up a whole different sensibility to you. When you have children, it focuses you on them as opposed to on yourself.

There's a large online community that I have been active in.

A lot of local merchants come out as sponsors or are donating items. Everyone in the community is welcome.

The findings of this survey are disturbing to say the least. The Hispanic community is clearly struggling to afford their prescription drugs. We must all work together to pass state laws to ensure that no one has to choose between filling their grocery cart and filling their prescriptions because drugs are so expensive.
