We have a much larger committee now with about 25 active, enthusiastic volunteers. The executive committee is responsible for organizing various activities and each has a core of volunteers to help them.

We try to do something new every year for the tournament and its activities. It's for a good cause and so everyone wants to get involved with it.

We're hoping to at least meet, if not exceed, last year's amount. The clinic has moved to a new facility from the old trailer it's been in for years. Demands have increased over the years, and this tournament is the perfect way to help the clinic and play tennis at the same time.

It has been wonderful having so many volunteers. Dana (Berger) has been just amazing at organizing the students.

It is a wonderful job the committee volunteers have done getting the downtown refurbished after the hurricanes.

I’m much better at working out ideas in action than I am in theorizing about it and then transferring my thinking to action. I don’t work that way. I work with tentative ideas and I experiment and then with that experimentation in action, I finally come to the conclusions about what I think is the right way to do it.
