We have a refuse-to-lose mentality. We played pretty well. We played intense. We didn't play smart, but I can't remember a better game.

We wanted to tempo the game defensively to get some run outs. We wanted them to play fast.

We felt pretty comfortable despite the tempo. That's the beauty of our team. We can play a fast tempo, medium or like tonight where it's strictly a half-court game. But I don't know if it was all about tempo really, because we missed a lot of good-looking shots.

I feel pretty good going up there Wednesday. If we can play as good of defense as we have been and if we can start hitting the ball, we can win this game Wednesday.

I still think our best ballgame is ahead of us. But I can't convince them of that. They have to convince themselves.

He's a guy that stays focused and gets after things.
