We have a very different philosophy than FAIR. Their philosophy is to litigate. Our philosophy is to amend legislation.

I agree that it is nice that Senator Bennett is concerned about what happens to park residents who appear to be in the way of developers and park owners, but let the senator and other developers pay the bill resulting from evictions and displacements of mobile home residents. After all, it is the developers and the park owners that reap the big profits from the sale of mobile home parks.

You've got to show these folks what your intentions are.

We feel it is important to be able to show comparable and affordable mobile-home parks in the area.

We have fulfilled the obligations that were put forth in the original legislation.

We want to have a more middle of the road view. What we would rather see, instead of congressional legislation, is to allow commercial negotiations to take place between the players involved.
